Following the government's advice and the guidelines of the diocese we will be opening the church for individual prayer on Wednesdays and Sundays from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
We can do this because of the generosity of those who have volunteered to act as stewards and to clean the church.
If you would like to volunteer as steward or cleaner please contact us at email@example.com
When visiting the church please observe these norms:
In the first phase of the reopening, no public liturgy will be celebrated. Mass will continue to be celebrated every day without a congregation and available at www.churchservices.tv/kensington1
We look forward to the day when we will be able to gather together again for Mass and the other sacraments in our church.
The other churches of our deanery of Kensington and Chelsea will also be opening. Please visit their websites for their opening times .
From 5th July, our Church opens for public worship, Mass will be celebrated Monday - Saturday at 10am. We will announce the Sunday schedule next week. With social distancing measures in place we will be able to accommodate 100 persons at any Mass. We are working to see how best we can facilitate our safe return to the building. We will need volunteer stewards and cleaners to be present at these Masses. Please consider being a volunteer.

Dear parishioners and friends,
Can you help?
We are making preparations for the day when we will be able to enter our Churches again. In the first instance for individual prayer. In order to do this, we need your help. We will have to observe certain practices to ensure hygiene and social distancing. Everyone entering and leaving the Church will need to sanitise their hands with hand sanitiser, which will be available.
Therefore, we must have persons who will act as stewards, to welcome and direct those who enter the Church. We also need parishioners who are willing to help clean parts of the Church at the end of each day.
We will supply training and protective wear. You will work as part of a team. You will not be alone. We would need at least an hour of your time. I would be grateful if you could let me know what you could help with. Those parishioners in the shielded category cannot be consider for any of these roles.
A. Member of cleaning team.
B. Giving time to act as a steward in the Church.
We will do all this in cooperation with the other Churches in our Deanery of Kensington & Chelsea.
If we do not have enough volunteers, we will not be able to open the church as often as we would like. I appreciate that as parishioners return to work it may not be possible for many to give of their time in this way.
Please pray about what you can do. Once we have some sense of how many people are able to help we can make our plans.
Yours sincerely in Christ
Monsignor Jim Curry
