Parishes and schools are invited to get involved in the campaign
Operation Elf Supporter Information:
Thank you for being part of the Operation Elf Campaign 2021. We are grateful for your efforts to share a little joy and hope with prisoners and their children this Christmas.
Do we know you?
Make sure we at Pact know that you are doing Operation Elf this year. Email us firstname.lastname@example.org.
What do you need to do?
While doing your Christmas shopping, buy an extra gift cards with a £10 value only please. Want to donate more? Buy multiples of £10 cards. E.g. To donate £30, buy three separate £10 gift cards
Want to donate less? Club together with friends to buy a £10 gift card.
Send all the £10 gift cards to us at Pact
Then we’ll make sure that:
A prisoner can give the gift card(s) to their child so they can go on a lovely shopping trip and enjoy buying something they want.
What kind of Gift card to buy?
Choose one that gives lots of options to a child. Some may want to buy chocolate, others popular toiletries, a book or toy, or they may like to put it towards a new jacket.
A good choice is a One4All gift card which you can buy at the Post Office or online- this can be used in lots of shops. Otherwise choose department store gift cards e.g. Boots, M&S.
Please buy actual gift cards and not e-cards or e-vouchers as these are too difficult to distribute.
How can supporters feel connected with the families they are helping?
Invite supporters to head to our website and write a message of support to families who have someone in prison at this tough time: Pledge your support for Operation Elf | Prison Advice and Care Trust
Where to send the gift cards?
Please make sure gift cards arrive with us by 30th November 2021 to allow our Christmas Elves to share them with mums and dads in prison, for their children.
Collect them up and send them to us here:
